Okie dokers. I have midterms comming up, yay. My classes are nice and spread out test wise, so I have a midterms once a week for around 4 weeks, then a 2 week break before they start over again. Well, my break is over, and I need to study!
I'm also finishing my transfer applications to some hopefully more challenging colleges over spring break (instead of the usual Tiawana(sp?) you know ).

I promise I'll actually finish the projects I'm working on currently instead of being my typical lethargic and unable to spell being.

With a mentioning of school. One comment, only one. Whoever invented Saturday labs that start at 8am and go until dinner is my eternal enemy. Even if they rock as a person.

I bought a blue, glow-in the dark rubber duck today! I also bought a retarded looking green one, and a satan one. Now my yellow one has friends! (I'm normal, I swear!) I love rubber ducks. they rock.

Yes, you heard me right: Naked. As in, there is now content in which a person is not wearing a decent amount of clothing. Actually, none at all.

Since there is now nudity on this account I'm using this as a warning and notice. It is not pr0n, it is art. Art that I'm actually quite proud of. However, if you are not of mature age (I don't know about legal age) and want to scream "Boobies" that is disrespectful to the beautiful stock model I used.

I also would like to eventually add a list of artists whose work is "creepy", "frightening", "weird", "horror", "dark", and et cetera. If you, or one of your buddies has stuff that could fall under those conditions send me a note with a link to their page and/or gallery so I can check em out! If I like it and it works I'll give a mention up here. I realize that I don't exactly have the largest pool of people, but every little bit counts, right?

I'm enjoying my inking spree as of late. Its one of the few medias I have had zero experience with and never studied in any of my classes or readings. So its something new that I'm really enjoying. And it feels great to be watercoloring again.

Some interesting points about the pen I use is that its an older model (Pilot G-2 07) that is known for drying slower than desired. Which is problematic if your writing quickly as it causes ink dots on the page before it if your in a book, or smearing (particularly if your left handed). Ironically, I'm left handed.
If you arent' familiar with all the silly pen stuff, its an archival quality pen thats easy to find practically anywhere and is reasonably priced. Its only flaw that gets on my nerves is that it doesn't write well on hard surfaces, so if you have a single piece of paper you want to draw on, it needs to be on top of something else.


Current Projects:
1) Twi Lek: A Study - This should be up by the end of the day. I finished it last night but I feel like I've been imposing on ~RachiruJaganshi by constantly asking if she can scan something for me. Not sure if I should put it in scraps or not since it turned out pretty good. I traced the picture in ink out of my SWRP book and watercolored it to get a better idea of how the watercolor interacts with the pen after nearly a day at varying amount of water ratios, ect. Minimal attention was given to neatness, color, or shading.
2) Clostet Apocalypse - Outline's been done for well over a day, but I don't want any ink bleeding and wanted to do a study before coloring it (which I did). However, I'm not sure which way it should go. I drew it portrait like Drone, but when I rotated it 90 degrees CW it looked really good (maby better). I don't know which way works better, so I'm going to beg for feedback on it.
3) Photo Manipulation, wtf? - As of late I've been having fun practicing any photo minpulation skills I may have with varied stock throughout dA. I might eventually get somewhere with it, who knows really.

Six Weird Habits/Things/Hates About Myself:
1) I chew my nails when I'm thinking.
2) I check my door twice before going to sleep or leaving my room to make sure its really locked.
3)I learn concepts better if I'm laying/sitting on: the floor or on a counter/table.
4) My ligaments are so loose that have no way of actually stretching my quads unless I could pull my leg through my body (natural contortionist). This is both a gift and a curse though.
5)Horrible at motivating myself to start and finish things if its supposed to be considered work - even if I like it.
6) I can't remember peoples names or learn new vocabulary well at all.
